Doctors Who Treated Patrick Sawyer And Controlled The Spread Of Ebola To Nigerians

The World Health Organisation-WHO, on Monday 20th October declared Nigeria an Ebola free country.
The virus was imported into the country sometime in July by Liberian diplomat Patrick Sawyer.
During the crisis, 19 people contracted the virus, and 7 of the 19 died.
Amongst the four that died was the head consultant at First Consultant hospital, Dr Ameyo Adadevoh and Nurse Justina Ejelonu. 




Dr Adadevoh and her colleagues-pictured above- are credited for been pro active with efforts they made at containing the deadly EVD, and stopping Mr Saywer from moving around.
Because of their courage, and the proactive measures taken by the Lagos state, the disease didn't become an epidermic and today the country is EBOLA FREE
