BREAKING! Explosion Hits Potiskum, Yobe 2nd Largest Town As Suicide Bomber Strikes

Explosion has today Monday 3rd of November been  reported at Tsohuwar Kasuwa in Potiskum, Yobe state, as Shiites Muslims were celebrating their new year.
Witnesses say the  suicide bomber targeting members of the Shiite group, Islamic Brotherhood of Nigeria, detonated his explosive vest, killing many instantly.
More than 10 people are said to have reportedly died from the attack whcih took place during Ashura procession.

Potiskum is the largest town outside Damaturu, the Yobe state capital.

Although, the town had witnessed several bomb and gun attacks from members of the Boko Haram sect in the past, it has recently enjoyed relative peace.

There is no official statement yet, and efforts to speak with the spokespersons of both the Police and the Joint Task Force, JTf, in the state were unsuccessful.
