The Nigerian Footbal Federation (NFF) has sacked super Eagles head coach, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi, despite recording his first win in African Cup of Nations qualifiers last night.
The sack is contained in a communique released by the board in the early hours of Thursday during an emergency meeting.
The communique also indicated that the federation is either going to replace Keshi with Amodu Shuaibu or shop for a foreign coach for the national team.
Similarly, former Super Eagles boss, Samson Siasia has been appointed as the new handler of the national Under-23 team coach, the Flying Eagles.
The Nigeria Football Federation disclosed this during the emergency meeting held this Thursday morning in Abuja.
Siasia, according to the NFF communique signed by the Chairman of the Communique Drafting Committee, Sulaiman Yahaya-Kwande, will be assisted by Fatai Amoo, while the Technical and Development Department will recommend the other members of the crew.
